Taking place last week, Sony Mobile have officially introduced their new Sony Xperia Z Ultra to the world which is the latest addition to the company’s Xperia Z family of devices. Equipped with a huge 6.44-inch 1920×1080 display and the first smartphone to feature Sony’s new Triluminous technology, the company claimed that the Xperia Z Ultra is the slimmest full HD smartphone in the world at 6.5mm thin.
While we have discussed about Sony Xperia Z Ultra right after it was launched in Shanghai, here is a quick introduction of the device by Sony Mobile’s Director of Xperia Marketing, Calum MacDougall. This introduction mainly touches on the device’s Triluminos and X-Reality display technologies as well as its portability and unique display input which able to support not only stylus but also pen and pencil:
The new Sony Xperia Z Ultra is expected to be released in Malaysia sometime in late July or early August 2013. However, Sony have yet to officially reveal the Malaysian pricing for the device. Well, we keep you posted once we received any updates about that. So, stay tuned.
