If you’re planning to get a new smartphone in the near future, you might want to halt your purchase because according to Sirim database, more devices are heading our shores soon. First of all, we all know that LG Optimus G Pro will be reaching Malaysia, when the manufacturer hosted an event in Macau in end May, it also announced that it will be bringing its latest phablet to Malaysia and it looks like our wait will be over pretty soon. The LG Optimus G Pro has recently been added into Sirim’s database along with two pretty new entry level and mid-range Android devices from HTC – Desire 200 and Desire 600.
The LG Optimus G Pro is a 5.5” phablet from LG that is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Running on Android 4.1.2, it’s an LTE device running on 1800 and 2600MHz bandwidth which means yes, it’s compatible with our local LTE connectivity. Other specs includes a Full HD display, 3,140mAh battery and LG’s very own UX that boasts many LG features such as Q Slide, IR remote, Dual camera, smart video and such, no prize guessing where you’ve seen these features from. As for the HTC devices, the Desire 600 is a dual-SIM mid-range Android device that was announced in late May. The device packs a Snapdragon 200 1.2GHz quad-core processor on board along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Running on Android 4.1.2, it features a 4.5” Super LCD 2 display with a resolution of 540 x 9600. Other specs includes 8MP rear camera, 1.6MP front camera and will have HTC Sense 5 UI on board.
Finally, the Desire 200 is the latest entry level Android device from HTC that packs a 3.5” display with 1GHz Snapdragon S1 processor on board. It has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD slot, and a 5MP camera at the back.
Now that these devices are listed in the database, let’s hope that it won’t be too long before they hit the shelves, especially the Optimus G Pro that has already been available in the other side of the world for quite some time now.
