Like it or not, it looks like most smartphone manufacturers will have their own “mega” phones to show off, including Alcatel with its new 6” One Touch Hero. Featuring a 6” Full HD IPS display, the new addition is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor but what’s interesting about the Hero isn’t its specs, it’s a collection of accessories that it comes with, including an E Ink cover.
Specs wise, the devices comes with 2GB of RAM, 8GB or 16GB of expandable storage, 13MP rear shooter accompanied with a 2MP front camera, 3,400mAh battery, and almost a compulsory for an item this size, the company’s very own stylus along.
While it may already have a pretty large battery on board, with a second E Ink display cover that sits over the device, you can save even more power by using it to read all your magazines and books. Other accessories including MagicFlip casing with embedded LED that shows all the notifications, a companion Bluetooth phone that looks very much like the HTC Mini+ that was announced not too long ago, a TV Link video adapter, and a Pico Projector.
