It looks like BlackBerry Malaysia has quietly lowered the price of its flagship QWERTY smartphone, the Q10. Released in Malaysia back in April for a retail price of RM2388, the revised retail price has been set at RM1998 – interestingly, it is the same as the company’s latest full-touchscreen smartphone, the Z30.
As for BlackBerry’s other smartphones in Malaysia, the Z10’s prices have also been revised to RM1799 (3G version) and RM1899 (4G LTE version) while the Q5’s RRP remains unchanged at RM1299. We’re told that the Z10’s prices have been lowered for some time now, while Amanz first reported the Q10’s price drop on Monday.
We’ve reached out to BlackBerry Malaysia for comments regarding the price drops, and will update the post when we receive a reply.
