The Sony NEX-5T wasn’t the only new camera Sony announced yesterday, the company also unveiled its Alpha a3000 camera that packs advance shooting functions, superb image quality and interchangeable lens. Don’t be fooled by the image though, the a3000 may look like your typical huge DSLR camera, but it is pretty compact, measuring at approximately 128 x 90.9 x 84.5mm and even has a built-in flash.
The a3000 features a large 20.1MP APS-C Exmor Sensor on its body and with a growing choice of 18 E-mount interchangeable lens to pick from, the device can capture flawlessly detailed still images be it portraits, street scenes and even landscapes. It can also capture Full HD videos with a choice of 50i or 25p shooting modes. Other features include an electronic Tru-Finder with 100% field coverage, giving users plenty of extra information displayed in the electronic viewfinder, 3″ TFT display, 25 points auto focus, and ISO up to 3200. You can also expand your shooting options even further with added accessories via the Multi Interface Shoe – HVL-F43M flash, ECM-XYST1M Stereo Microphone or HVL-LEIR1 Video IR light.
As with the NEX-5T, Sony Malaysia said that it will be coming soon to Malaysia so fingers crossed that soon means really soon.
