In what looks like a serious case of deja vu, SamMobile has released a list of countries that will receive the Exynos and Snapdragon variants of the Galaxy Note III. Just like the Galaxy S4 before it, Malaysia will see two variants being available here when it is eventually launched in about three weeks at IFA.
This means that, just like the Galaxy S4, Malaysians will be able to pick between the LTE and non-LTE variants of the Galaxy Note III. As revealed earlier, the Galaxy Note III will be available in two variants for the international markets: one powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, and the other sporting Samsung’s own Exynos 5420 octa-core chipset – which does not feature support for LTE radios.
In addition, SamMobile adds that for countries where both variants will be made available, the LTE option will be available for purchase first. This is a change from the Galaxy S4 when it was launched here in Malaysia, where the octa-core non-LTE variant was launched first.
Finally, just like before, the lists are not official ones from Samsung, so it may not be confirmed just yet. SamMobile adds that the list is also not confirmed, which gives hope that other countries may be added to the lists in the future. We have approached Samsung Malaysia for a comment, and will update the post when we receive a reply.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
