On the Galaxy front, Samsung has turned their attention to imaging on the Galaxy brand, which is associated with the company’s Android products. Two new Galaxy devices were introduced today: the Galaxy S4 Zoom and the new Galaxy NX – the first mirrorless camera powered by Android.
As we know, the recently-announced Galaxy S4 Zoom melds the Galaxy S4 Mini with a pocket digital camera, enabling “a new consumer experience”.
On the other hand, Samsung goes one step further from the footsteps of last year’s Galaxy Camera, and opens up new possibilities with the new Galaxy NX mirrorless camera. It is both the first mirrorless camera powered by Android, as well as the first with 4G LTE connectivity.
Things get more interesting with the new ATIV devices, too. The new ATIV Tab 3 is the world’s lightest Windows 8 tablet, while the ATIV One 5 Style all-in-one PC has a design inspired by the company’s Galaxy S4 smartphone.
As for laptops and Ultrabooks, the Korean giants has announced the new ATIV Book 9 Plus, ATIV Book 9 Lite, as well as the ATIV Q hybrid laptop. With the exception of the ATIV Book 9 Lite which is powered by the company’s custom quad-core processor, the new Ultrabooks are equipped with the latest Intel Haswell fourth-gen Core processors, allowing for unprecedented battery life.
