It may look like Samsung is spamming the market with a huge collection of smartphones (to take over the Galaxy perhaps?) but one has to admit, Samsung is very good at what it does. Hot off the heels of the next collection of Samsung Galaxy S4 rumors – S4 mini, Active and Zoom, here are more rumors about the upcoming flagship phablet from Samsung – the Samsung Galaxy Note III.
Samsung already has the latest and greatest technologies packed into its current flagship, the S4, so what can the company add to the Note III to make it unique, besides the S Pen and collection of S Pen apps? According to rumors, the Note III will be powered by Snapdragon 800 processor, a quad-core Krait 400 processor that can be clocked up to 2.3GHz. Unlike the company’s very own octa-core Exynos processor, Snapdragon 800 is LTE enabled, meaning that instead of releasing two different variants to confuse consumers, it only has one. Rumors also goes to say that the Note III will pack an Adreno 330 GPU that supports 4K video playback and recording.
Samsung has been rumored to be working on the S4 Zoom, a S4-alike device that is very much focused on the camera and if that’s true, there are no reasons for the company not to bring in at least several of the camera features to the Note III. According to rumors, the Note III will pack a 13MP rear camera with 3X optical zoom and of course, with optical image stabilizer on board. Other rumored specs include a 6” Super AMOLED display and 2GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to be announced in IFA 2013, which will happen in Berlin this September.
