Last week, Nokia has promised that they are going to reveal something new today and if you are hoping for a QWERTY-based Lumias, we are sorry to say that you are going to be disappointed. Instead, here’s the new Nokia Asha 210.
While the QWERTY keyboard might be the main highlight of the phone, the Asha 210 is also packed with a 2.4-inch display, the support for Nokia Slam, both Wi-Fi and EDGE connectivity as well as…check this out: a dedicated WhatsApp shortcut key. In addition to the features above, there’s also a 2-megapixels camera with the same voice-assisted self-portrait mode from Nokia 301 as well as a built-in photo editor.
Nokia also claimed that the Asha 210 has a long-lasting battery with a standby time of up to 46 days, depending on the device’s specific variant. Available in single and dual-SIM models, the new Nokia Asha 210 is priced at RM 220 (USD 72) and is scheduled to be out in the market sometime in the second quarter of 2013.
