Part of the four device that the Nokia has launched at Mobile World Congress 2013 yesterday, the new Nokia 105 is said to be the follow up of 2009’s Nokia 1280 and serves as the new point-of-entry to the Nokia’s brand. Priced at only RM 61 (EUR 15), it is designed to be a mobile phone for first time users or as a low-cost backup device.
Despite its no-frills nature, the Finnish phone maker has actually equipped with a number of useful features into the Series 30-based Nokia 105 such as flashlight (aha!), speaking clock, five programmable alarms, FM radio and five pre-installed games. Furthermore, the Nokia 105 also features splash and dust proof key mat as well as a long-lasting battery life with up to 35-days of standby time.
Not to forget, the Nokia 105 also has a 1.45-inch color display. The phone is scheduled to be released gradually in emerging markets throughout the world starting from this quarter onwards.
