Building upon the foundation laid by its first Xbox 360 controller – the Onza – Razer today announced the successor to the gamepad in the form of Razer Sabertooth. Still focusing on giving gamers extra advantages in the gaming arena through additional features that are not available on a standard Xbox 360 controller, Razer has increased the number of programmable button on the new Sabertooth gamepad to six buttons as compared to only two on Onza.
In addition to that, the new Razer Sabertooth also features a redesigned D-pad as well as an OLED display that enables users to remap the gamepad’s buttons as well as adjust the gamepad’s sensitivity, backlit and rumble settings easily. Users are also able to diagnose the condition of the gamepad’s analogue sticks via the display.
Furthermore, the Razer Sabertooth is also equipped with a 3-meter lightweight braided USB cable that is securely screwed onto the gamepad but can be detached easily in case someone accidentally trip on it. To complete the package, the company has also included a carrying case for easy storage and travel.
The new Razer Sabertooth is priced at around RM 243 (USD 79.99) and expected to be out in stores throughout the world starting from this month onwards. To learn more about the new gamepad, head on to www.razerzone.com.
