The 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is not even here yet but we are already feeling the heat with quite a number of companies of have begun hyping out their upcoming presence at the event and one such company is Samsung. Among the new devices that the Korean electronic giant will be showcasing at the event is the new Samsung NX300 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera.
The new Samsung NX300 is equipped with a 20.3-megapixels APS-CMOS sensor that is coupled together with Samsung’s own DRIMe IV imaging engine. The imaging engine supports full 1080p HD video capture in both 2D and 3D when used with Samsung NX-mount 45mm f/1.8 2D/3D lens which was also revealed alongside the camera. Furthermore, the camera also boasts a wide ISO range from 100 to 25600, maximum shutter speed of 1/6000 sec and 8.6fps continuous shooting mode.

On its back is a 3.31-inch AMOLED touch display that can be tilted in order to help users shoot in different angles. The camera is also equipped with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity which enables users to share images from the camera directly to their Android and iOS smartphones through Samsung Smart Camera App. Additionally, the app also allows users to use their smartphones as a remote viewfinder for the camera.
The Samsung NX300 camera will come together with 20-50mm kit lens and a copy of Adobe Lightroom for RM 2277 (USD 750) while the Samsung NX-mount 45mm f/1.8 2D/3D lens – claimed to be the world’s first one-lens 3D system- will be priced at RM 1822 (USD 600). Both are expected to be shipped into the market this coming March.
