Last month, Sony Mobile announced the arrival of its Xperia miro and Xperia tipo dual and if you were wondering what happened to the Xperia tipo (single SIM), it’s finally here. Just like its dual-SIM sibling, the Xperia tipo is an entry-level Android device that offers a simple and easy to use smartphone experience. Targeted at first time smartphone users, it comes with a dedicated set-up guide, a built-in application to monitor data usage, excellent battery life and runs on Android ICS.
Other key features of the Xperia tipo include a 3.2” scratch-resistant mineral glass display, 3.2MP camera, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Available in classic white, deep red or navy blue, the Xperia tipo is available immediately for a retail price of RM499 (comes bundled for a limited time with one CITA stereo headset worth RM75).
