Remember the eerily realistic Steve Job figurine introduced by In Icon and how Apple was reported to sue the company? Well, it looks like Apple wins because In Icon has just reported that they will cancel its plan in making the doll. But of course, Apple isn’t the only ones who object to the action figure, according to In Icons, they have been getting “immense pressure” from Apple’s lawyers and Job’s family as well.
“We understand that this decision will cause many of the fans’ disappointment, but please forgive us as there is no other alternative unless to have the blessing from Steve Jobs’ family.” – In Icons wrote in their website.
If you’ve placed an order and paid for it, don’t worry, you will be getting a full refund.
It’s sad to see such thing happening actually, the company is indeed very talented to make such realistic action figure of the late Steve that everyone admires. Before this announcement, it looks like In Icon had such huge orders that they ran out of stock for the first batch. Visit In Icon to see the announcement.
