Monster, the world leader in consumer audio products, has recently entered into the Malaysian market with its new range of products to suit every consumer level. Monster has previously collaborated with Dr. Dre to create the massively popular Beats by Dr. Dre range of headphones, and also with Nokia with its Purity range. This year’s lineup is more of the same. However, Monster is building on the success of its Beats range, and has collaborated with more partners for a wider audience.
Head on after the break for Monster’s latest product range, as well as photos from the swanky launch event!
First up, Monster collaborated with Nick Cannon for their NTune headphones and Nergy in-earphones. Tailored for today’s audio-centric youths, the NTune and Nergy both combine Monster’s superior audio performance with style. The NTune also sports tangle-free cables, while the Nergy’s earbuds snap together via magnets to secure them on the neck when not in use.
Monster also collaborated with the legendary Earth, Wind and Fire for the Gratitude in-earphones. The group helped design and tune these rose gold finished earphones, and it features a specially engineered noise isolation architecture and can capture the true and deep harmonics of live music.
Not one to forget its social responsibility, Monster also partnered up with the Livestrong Foundation for the iSport LIVESTRONG Edition. It is based on Monster’s new iSport in-earphones, which are sweat-proof and also washable, making it ideal for active music lovers.
In addition, Monster collaborated with J.Y. Park on its high-end Diamond Tears-Edge headphones, which feature a daring design which is “edgy like diamonds and smooth like tears”. J.Y. Park, if anyone is interested to know, is the producer of Rain, Wonder Girls, 2PM and 2AM, just to name a few. The Diamond Tears-Edge caters for the high-fashion and style-conscious consumer.
Of course, not every style-conscious consumer would like such daring designs, and so Monster have also partnered with lifestyle company Diesel to establish Diesel Noise Division, of which the first product in this line is the Vektr. Sporting intricate design details such as Mohican heads on both ear cups, and also the use of matte and glossy black as well as brushed aluminium finishes on the headphones, the Vektr blends the worlds of fashion and great sound.
Finally, Monster has launched its own, uncollaborated headphones called Inspiration. Featuring interchangeable headbands in a bevy of colours and materials, the Inspiration headphones also sport leading-edge noise cancelling and isolation technology.
The new range of Monster products are available now at leading electronic and music stores nationwide, with prices ranging from RM320 to a cool RM1600. For more information on these products, head on to Monster’s international website or its Malaysian Facebook page.
