Acer Malaysia has launched its new Windows Update Blockbuster Campaign, where it aims to provide the public with a sneak peek into the new Windows 8 operating system and at the same time provide entertain them with free movie passes.
Open to all members of the public, all those who are interested need only register on www.wub.my, where they will be given an e-ticket to confirm the date, time and venue of the movie screening. Before the screening, there will be a short preview and education session on Windows 8 will be conducted before the screening.
Normal attendees will only receive one movie ticket and preview pass, one popcorn and drinks combo set, as well as a RM100 Acer voucher applicable for selected Acer products. However, Acer customers will receive two passes and combo sets, as well as the RM100 voucher. In addition, the first 800 customers will receive a RM50 shopping voucher (terms apply).
There will be two movies scheduled for screening, which are “The Expendables 2” and the upcoming “Resident Evil: Retribution”. As of today, all screenings scheduled in the central region are already full.
