So, the Google Nexus that features Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS is finally here in Malaysia but don’t get too excited yet because Lenovo has just announced in the on-going CES the world’s first Android ICS smart TV. Featuring a whopping 55” display – that is not as fancy as LG’s borderless 55” OLED TV of course – the IdeaTV K91 is a 3D HDTV. It may run on Google’s latest mobile operating system, but don’t be mistaken because it isn’t a Google TV.
Inside the large frame is a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage with SD card expansion. As for connectivity, it is equipped with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, HDMI and USB2.0. Preloaded with over 100 apps, the K91 will come with Lenovo cloud services including an app store, video-on-demand, voice control, facial recognition and a 5MP webcam.
