First introduced to the market last year, Nokia Asha‘s family of S40-based devices are packed with features that are usually associated with smartphones such as internet connectivity, social networking and apps but at much lower price point. The series has now been expanded to include full touch devices with the official announcement of Nokia Asha 305, 306 and 311 last month.
Being the most premium out of them, the Nokia Asha 311 is equipped with a 3-inch scratch resistive capacitive touch display complete with polarizing filters for better visibility under direct sunlight. It also comes with a speedy 1GHz processor together with fast online experience through its HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity. The device also comes pre-installed with Nokia Browser 2.0 that uses server-side compression to reduce data usage of up to 90% and not to forget, a 3.2-megapixels camera.
On top of all that, each device also comes with 40 games from EA for free. The new Nokia Asha 311 will be available in Malaysia by the end of July 2012 for RM 419. Click on the Read More link below to check out our first look at the new device.
