Samsung seems to be really stepping up its game, and offering plenty of benefits for owners of the super-successful Galaxy SIII smartphone. The company have now announced the Premium Suite update for the flagship smartphone, which brings along not only Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean to the SIII, but also adds some really nifty features, most of which are awesome ones taken from the other successful Samsung device, the Galaxy Note II.
Among others, Multi Window will be coming in to the Premium Suite update, bringing real multi-tasking goodness to the SIII. There’s also the popular Best Face feature in the camera app, which snaps five consecutive shots and lets users choose the best face for everyone in the shot. Finally, there’s Paper Artist, which despite the lack of the S Pen still gives loads of fun.

In addition, Samsung have added another feature to its camera. Called the Low Light Shot, like the name implies it is an automatic setting for those night time/dark indoor shots – where unfortunately some of the best shots can be. There’s also two other additions to the camera app settings called “Talk Back” and “Face Detection”. With both settings applied, the SIII’s camera will literally tell you how many faces have been detected as they enter the frame. When tapping to shoot, the SIII will again tell you that it is snapping a shot.

Also, one interesting feature can be found immediately from the lock screen. Called the Facebook Lock Ticker, it allows incredibly easy access to the user’s Facebook news feed straight from the lock screen. There are also additional features such as Reader Mode, Easy Mode, Page Buddy and more that the company have compiled for the Galaxy SIII’s Premium Suite update that makes this update, well, premium. You can check all the features out from two videos released by the company in this post.
