The Canon 6D was the talk of the town way back when it was announced in September. I mean, a relatively affordable, full frame DSLR, what’s there not to love? Fitting in as a perfect upgrade from the crop sensor camera bodies or a second shooter for your existing full frame camera, the 6D is probably the perfect camera for all aspiring EOS photographers. Sporting a sexy 20.2MP Full Frame CMOS sensor, the Canon 6D also features an 11 Point AF system as well as built in WiFi and GPS support making it an even better value proposition to potential buyers.
The Canon EOS 6D has incredible low light, high ISO performance with a range of 100 to 25600 expandable to 102400. Paired with this Full-Frame sensor, you also get the fabled DIGIC 5+ imaging processor which is up to 3 times faster as the DIGIC 5 predecessor. The 6D also supports a continuous shooting speed of 4.5fps. While all those features are well and good, where the 6D shines is in the inclusion of WiFi and GPS support right off the box. With a supported app called the EOS Remote, you can even enable Live View and take pictures remotely via WiFi, a very handy tool for all photographers. It’s also worth noting that the 6D is 180g lighter than the its older brother the 5D3.
Available now at all Canon Authorised dealers is the Canon EOS 6D body retailing at RM6,399 and the EOS 6D with EF24-105 lens kit retailing at RM8,599. Also arriving in Malaysia in December is the EOS 6D with EF24-70 lens kit retailing at RM10,349.
