A rather unexpected news came to our attention today. The electronic chain store Challenger has announced that the new iPad Mini and 4th gen iPad with Retina Display will arrive into their store tomorrow, December 7. The store than retract back the information from its Facebook page in less than 2 hours after it was posted but of course, we managed to save the image above before that happened.
Here is the list of Challenger stores that will be receiving their stocks of the tablets tomorrow:
The Mines: 9am, 7 Dec 2012
Suria KLCC: 9am, 7 Dec 2012
PIKOM Capsquare: 9am, 7 Dec 2012
Mahkota Parade: 3pm, 7 Dec 2012
Challenger further added that the 4G model of the tablets will only available at later date.
While this particular info would usually raises our grey imports flag but we do have a good reason to believe that this is as official as it can be as Challenger’s Facebook page has noted the Malaysian pricing for both iPad Mini and 4th gen iPad with Retina Display will be revealed by Apple tomorrow. This could very mean that the tablets will not only available at Challenger alone but throughout the country as well.
