You know how awesome Google Now is with its ability to predict the information you require such as weather, directions and such, and provide those information before you even get to them? The team is now working on a similar thing but for search results – Google wants to pre-guess what you are going to search and alert you of the result before you do so.
How will Google do it? According to Technology Review, the concept behind is to understand a user’s need by sampling a test audience as they go about their everyday lives. In the early stage, it’s only limited to features like telling you the queue to a restaurant. Using GPS, the technology will also use your location to answer questions you may be thinking of. I hope that it won’t be geographically limited to anywhere but Malaysia or only in places with indoor map because how on earth will Google know the queue in my favorite mamak stall? Nonetheless, it would be interesting to see it when it’s ready.
