We’ve just seen the refreshed HTC One X+, which is a pretty awesome Android flagship to replace the less-than-year-old HTC One X. Now, we might just be seeing a brand-new HTC flagship, scheduled to be launched in the spring. To be called the HTC M7, it features some of the powerful specs seen in the HTC Butterfly and fits them into a smaller, 4.7-inch frame.
So what might this rumoured M7 pack? Well, does a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM impress you? In addition, the 4.7-inch screen will pack quite some pixels – a full HD screen, to be exact, and powered by a technology called SoLux. Then, there is the requisite Beats Audio amplifier paired with stereo speakers – a staple for HTC smartphones.
Finally, this rumoured flagship beats the HTC Butterfly with an impressive 13MP f2.0 camera with a 2MP front-facing unit capable of 1080p recording.
The HTC M7 will most probably make an appearance at February’s Mobile World Congress.
