Fujitsu Malaysia has launched its latest Ultrabook, running on the new Windows 8 operating system. However, unlike the approach of other OEMs, the Lifebook CH702 is a standard Ultrabook instead of a hybrid device. What makes it stand out, interestingly, is in its stylish feminine design that targets the female professional looking for an Ultrabook that combines power with feminine chic.
Read on to find out more about the Lifebook CH702.
The Lifebook CH702 is a 13.3-inch (1366 x 768 resolution) Ultrabook powered by the latest Intel Core i5-3317U and is pre-installed with Windows 8. It can be configured with up to 8GB of RAM as well as a 500GB hard disk with 24GB of flash storage. There’s two USB 3.0 ports (of which one can act as an anytime charger) and a battery slated for up to 7.5 hours of use.
Fujitsu also pre-installed two of its original applications into the Lifebook CH702. Called Diary and Scrapbook, it lets users organize tasks, announce important updates, enhance photos, collate interesting information, and share them onto social media sites.
What differentiates the CH702, naturally, is in its design. While not the lightest nor the thinnest at 1.45kg and 17.5mm, the CH702 has subtle design features such as a pearl-design power button and cubic zirconia embellishments. The Caps Lock key and power status LED lights also sport a diamond-cut surface. If that’s not feminine enough, the air intake and outtake vents also have a floral motif design.
Finally, Fujitsu does not forget the importance of accessories for women. As such, each CH702 Ultrabook comes with a matching wireless mouse that is shaped like a compact powder case, as well as matching laptop case and adaptor pouch adorned with pearl charms. Even the slim AC adaptor is bejewelled for that extra touch.
The Fujitsu Lifebook CH702 Ultrabook is available in white, pink and brown. Pricing for the Ultrabook has not been announced yet. For more information on the Lifebook CH702, head on to Fujitsu Malaysia’s website here.
