In addition to the new Nokia Asha 205, the Finnish phone maker has also announced another new S40-based phone called Nokia 206. As weird as it might sounds, the 206 is not part of Asha’s family even though it shares a lot of features with the Nokia Asha 205 such as the new Nokia Slam technology, Nokia Xpress Browser and the support for 32GB micro-SD card as well as EDGE connectivity, .
One of the biggest different between both devices is their camera. The 206 is equipped with higher resolution camera at 1.3-megapixels while the Asha 205 comes with a 0.3-megapixels camera. Of course, the most obvious differences between them is their design as the Nokia 206 is equipped with a standard keypad set rather than Asha 205’s QWERTY-style keypad.
Just like Asha 206, the new Nokia 206 will be available in single and dual-SIM variants with a price tag of RM 190 (USD 62). Expect to see the phone in the market sometime in Q4 2012.
