With less than two weeks left before our national football team kicks off its AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 campaign – as a defending champion, nevertheless – Nike Malaysia today has officially revealed the team’s new home jersey which will be making its debut at the tournament.
As per other Nike Football’s current jerseys for national teams and established clubs from all over the world, Harimau Malaysia’s new kit is made out of an average of 13 recycled plastic bottles per kits. The sporting giant also stated that the fabric in the new kit is 23-percent lighter and has 20-percent stronger knit structure as compared to previous releases.
The same Tanah Tumpahnya Darahku motive on the previous Harimau Malaya’s kit made a return to the new jersey but this time around, it is etched onto the area just underneath the collar instead at the back of Jalur Gemilang as per previous jersey. Other than that, the new home jersey also spots a classic crew rounded collar as opposed to previous jersey’s V-neck collar.
