Gaming peripheral maker, Razer has teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment to come up with an Overwatch edition of the Razer DeathAdder Chroma, Razer BlackWidow Chroma and the Razer Goliathus Extended Mousepad.
The Overwatch version of the Razer BlackWidow Chroma gaming keyboard utilises Razer’s own mechanical switches and they are touted to have a 60 million keystroke life span. Being a gaming keyboard, it also features 10 key roll-over anti-ghosting. Other than that, the Razer DeathAdder Chroma Overwatch gaming mouse has a 10,000 DPI optical sensor with five independently programmable buttons. It also has a gold-plated USB connector with a bright orange braided fiber cable.
That’s not all. Razer also has the Razer Goliathus Extended Overwatch edition for gamer’s tabletop. The surface is decorated with Overwatch aesthetics and the edges have an anti-fray stitched frame as well as a rubber base to prevent it from slipping.
The main difference of the Overwatch edition of the DeathAdder gaming mouse and BlackWidow gaming keyboard is that they both have game-integrated lighting effects that changes according to the hero picked in-game. These gaming peripherals are were demoed at Blizzcon 2015 and will be available worldwide after the game launches in 2016.
Those interested can register their interest at Razer’s official store. The DeathAdder Chroma Overwatch gaming will mouse will be sold for $79.99 (about RM350) while the BlackWidow Chroma Overwatch gaming keyboard will come with a price tag of $179 (about RM780). Lastly, the Goliathus Extended Overwatch gaming mousepad will sell for $34.99 (about RM152).
