Most of our portable devices these days (bar laptops) have been reduced to nothing more than a slab of glass, plastic, and sometimes metal. As a result, a physical keyboard is quite a rarity. For those who want something more than what an on-screen keyboard can offer, the Logitech K480 that works across different operating systems is worth a look.
What makes the Logitech K480 particularly interesting is the fact that it’s compatible with a slew of operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, and even Chrome OS. Essentially, the K480 is a Bluetooth keyboard that can connect up to three different devices at a time. Users can switch between devices by using the “Easy-Switch” dial to make their selection.
As far as layout goes, the K480 seems to have a standard keyboard layout, which is always a good thing. There is also an integrated cradle that can accommodate devices up to 10.5mm thick and 258mm wide. Basically, what this keyboard is offering is a more authentic typing experience that what an on-screen keyboard can give, and this reason alone can be appealing to consumers who need to do a lot of typing on the go.
The Logitech K480 Bluetooth keyboard is now available at all authorised Logitech resellers in Malaysia for RM179. More information on the keyboard can be found here and here.
