Sharing is caring and U Mobile is now making it easier for you to share up to 30GB of data with up to 5 devices at the same time, with its Super Broadband Plan that comes with a free MiFi Modem.
From now until 31 December 2014, sign up for one of the telco’s Super Broadband Plans – MB68, MB88 or MB128, and you will get a 21Mbps MiFi Modem for free. No contract is required but since the promotion comes with a rebate of RM10 for 10 months, I’m pretty sure most users would stay at least until the 10 months is up. The plan requires users to pay only RM150 when they sign up – RM100 Activation Fee and RM50 Advance Payment.
The data quota for the plans are separated into two time frames – an all-day quota and another for off-peak period from 2am to 8am.
- MB68 (5GB + 5GB) – 5GB all-day quota with free 5GB for off-peak period
- MB88 (7GB + 14GB) – 7GB all-day quota with free 14GB for off-peak period
- MB128 (10GB + 20GB) – 10GB all-day quota with free 20GB for off-peak period
If 21Mbps is too slow for your liking or if you reside within U Mobile’s LTE coverage area, you may also opt to upgrade the free MiFi modem to an LTE/LTE MiFi modem for a fee.
