Two New All-In-Ones From Lenovo Arrive In Malaysia

Lenovo C470

Lenovo has unveiled two All-in-One computers for the Malaysian market. The Intel Core i3 powered C470 and the Android-based N300. The N300 marks the first time Lenovo has introduced an Android powered AiO, although other manufacturers have already experimented with the combination of the two.

The Lenovo C470 is quite clearly a machine designed for productivity. It features an Intel Core i3-4030U processor with an NVIDIA Geforce 820A GPU. Neither of which will provide massive amounts of computing power. It will, however, function perfectly well for getting work done; especially with the 2TB HDD internal storage option. Memory comes in either 4GB or 8GB, depending on the needs of the consumer.

Lenovo C470 Back

Lenovo also points out that the C470 has an access panel on the back of the AiO to allow users to upgrade the machine in the future. Although an modifications are limited to switching out RAM or the HDD. At 21.5-inches, it does not have much space to expand much else as well.

Lenovo N300

An an Android 4.2 based AiO, The N300 falls into a strange category of productivity machines that don’t exactly have all the features of a machine designed for productivity. Lenovo is positioning it as a way for consumers to enjoy mobile apps with a  larger storage space; all 500GB of it. At 19.5-inches it is also considerably larger than the usual Android tablet. The only drawback would be that the 1600×900 LED HD+ display only supports 2-point multi-touch, which is a little disappointing considering the Intel Celeron J1900 is more than capable of handling multiple inputs.

An upgrade to Windows 8.1 exists for the N300, although there is no information about the pricing and availability at the moment.

Both AiOs are already available in stores. The Lenovo C470 has an RRP from RM1,849, while the N300 is priced at RM1,349.
