Petrol heads, pay attention – the second season of Top Gear Korea is about to be rolled out on TV screen very soon. Fans are able to catch the show through KIX HD (Astro’s channel 729) on every Tuesday at 9pm starting from 22 January onwards. To celebrate the occasion, KIX HD actually flew one of the hosts – Yeon Jung-hoon, an actor and occasional racer – to Kuala Lumpur for today’s launch event.
Obviously, one can expect to see more of the quirky yet informative (most of the times) take on motoring which Top Gear series has been always been known for in the new season of Top Gear Korea on KIX HD. Among them are a race between Cobra helicopter and a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, car skydiving, and car football match.
Additionally, the new season will also feature well-known celebrities in its Star Lap Time (equivalent to Top Gear UK’s Star In A Reasonably Priced Car”) line-up including Ga-Yoon and Hyuna from the famed girl group, 4minute.
